Adobe is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of accomplished engineers to deliver the first release of the Graph product, a new creative system that lets users combine first and third-party AI models, Adobe tools, and custom interactive components inside a visual, designer-friendly node graph editor.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of demonstrated experience in software engineering is required.
- Strong technical background and analytical abilities.
- Experience in developing commercially successful web applications.
- Excellent technical skills in evaluating systems architecture, particularly using extensive knowledge of full-stack technologies.
- Passion for collaborating with design teams from concept to production.
- Track record of optimally developing, leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of engineers to deliver the first release of the Graph product.
- Work closely with design, product and program management to define the priorities, user experience, product roadmap, and schedule.
- Take ownership of the development life cycle, closely supervise progress, identify risks and opportunities, and report progress to senior leadership.
- Play a pivotal role in attracting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining exceptional engineers through mentorship, and grow them professionally and personally.
- Cultivate an environment that embraces teamwork, celebrates achievements, and fosters collaboration for shared success.
- Champion engineering excellence, contributing to the architecture and high-level structure of our applications.
- Contribute to driving culture and process improvements across the broader engineering organization.
