Requirements
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 5 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or Machine Learning (AI or ML).
- Knowledge of Cloud or AI (builder, code and design savvy).
Responsibilities
- Leverage your deep technical expertise to help identify and refine promising projects across a rich variety of highly complex AI problems.
- Bring your entrepreneurial spirit and passion for addressing ambiguous and ambitious projects in a scrappy 0 to 1 environment, driving focus on speed to learnings and prioritizing rapid experimentation.
- Collaborate to define and continuously refine concrete experiments, proactively identify and unblock the team when necessary and contribute directly in the project execution.
- Navigate complex organizational challenges working across products and engineering in Google Cloud, Google DeepMind and other Google teams.
- Build a collaborative and effective team coaching and mentoring the team on experimental thinking, challenging their assumptions, structuring communication for successful transitions and career development.
- Your leadership is marked by curiosity, and you must be eager to write code and collaborate directly with the team.
