Rippling is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on building and scaling analytics solutions that empower customers to make data-driven decisions. The goal is to enhance how users interact with their data through agentic systems, automation, intelligence, and interactivity.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in building and scaling web applications
- 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager, leading and mentoring high-performing teams
- Proven experience leading product-focused teams, including those with a strong frontend engineering component
- Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI), reporting, or data visualization systems, with an understanding of how users consume and interact with data is a plus.
- Prior experience with full stack teams would also be a plus.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with the ability to adapt quickly and drive clarity amidst ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, lead complex projects end-to-end, and deliver high-impact results
Responsibilities
- Stay hands-on, contributing to architectural decisions, code reviews, and key technical initiatives
- Drive consistent, high-quality delivery, ensuring products are shipped regularly and meet performance, usability, and reliability standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally, maintaining a holistic view across engineering and product to shape long-term technical and product strategies
- Step into the product management role when needed, helping define requirements, prioritize work, and ensure alignment with customer needs and business goals
- Lead and inspire a team of passionate software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and high impact
- Establish and refine processes that enable the team to move fast, stay aligned, and continuously deliver value
