Hanwha Q CELLS Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the development of Fleet Manager, a comprehensive web platform for asset management, real-time monitoring, and analytics across distributed solar and energy storage systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building and scaling web platforms with modern frontend and backend technologies.
  • Expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, and real-time data processing.
  • Experience with role-based access control, SSO, and enterprise-grade security practices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the technical roadmap for Fleet Manager, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability across thousands of sites and millions of data points.
  • Architect and maintain a modern web stack using technologies such as React, microservice APIs, and event-driven backends.
  • Integrate with Qcells’ shared data & IoT platform, supporting real-time alerting, analytics, and grid service operations.
  • Champion best practices in full-stack development, including CI/CD, observability, and secure API design.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and operational excellence across all tooling teams.
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to measure developer productivity and tool effectiveness.
  • Lead a full-stack engineering team focused on web development and cloud integration.

Other

  • 8+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in engineering management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and cultures; experience with remote-first teams.
  • Demonstrate willingness to work flexible hours that create overlap with engineers in Korea and India for 1:1s, planning, and technical discussions.
  • Travel may be required up to 10%, depending on business needs.
