Apple Cloud Infrastructure team is building the next generation of platforms that empower engineers in Apple to build products that our customers love. We're developing new, innovative observability services and are searching for a leader who has experience in large-scale distributed systems and can lead a team of highly talented engineers. Our systems must scale globally, stay highly available, and "just work", while supporting some of the largest services in world.
Requirements
- Experience with implementing observability (metrics, alerting, logging, tracing) at scale
- Understanding of core distributed systems concepts, such as fault-tolerance, consistency, and distributed rate-limiting
- Understanding of core CS concepts including data structures, algorithms and concurrent programming
- Experience with one of Java, Scala, Golang, or Rust

- Experience managing other managers or senior ICs
- 15+ years of industry experience
- 10+ years experience as a manager
