Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) seeks a Senior Engineering Manager, Power Systems to lead engineering teams in developing and delivering cutting-edge solutions for clients in the power systems industry, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met, and supporting business development activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of related engineering and management.
- Relevant experience working with SEL devices, engineering consulting, and/or in the electric power industry
- Proven ability to lead the design/support of successful projects/processes.
- Capable of managing complex business process problems requiring creativity and ingenuity.
Responsibilities
- Apply working knowledge of electric power system protection, control, design, automation and/or communication technology and applications to lead engineering teams as they create customer-centric solutions
- Own the performance of Engineering Services' Pullman Branch in conjunction with SEL strategic objectives, ensuring that cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.
- Support business development activities in the Northwest region, including scope of work development, proposal preparation, customer visits, and other related activities.
- Lead and develop managers, supervisors, and individual contributors to meet the goals of the organization.
- Present at meetings with internal stakeholders, business partners, and customers.
- Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

- B.S. in an Engineering field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
