Requirements
- Strong engineering background with deep knowledge of advanced technologies such as automation, controls, software development, and electronic systems.
- Experience developing and executing technology roadmaps or global product plans that align with business and customer needs.
- Experience driving the adoption of advanced technologies and automation across multiple product lines.
- Deep understanding of heavy equipment, automotive, or construction industries, with the ability to translate industry trends into innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and inspire leaders across multiple engineering teams, including Advanced Engineering, Advanced Controls, and a newly formed Advanced Software team.
- Develop and execute the BCP Technology Multi-Generational Project Plan (MGPP), aligning with product groups and enterprise technology partners.
- Deliver solutions that meet customer needs in automation, controls, software, and electronic components - both now and for the long term.
- Partner with Cat Technology, Cat Digital, and other divisions to ensure BCP customer needs to inform enterprise-wide technology strategies.
- Drive the adoption of advanced technologies and automation across multiple product lines.
- Influence strategies and aligning priorities at an enterprise level.
- Translate industry trends into innovative solutions.
