Apple is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to help build seamless and efficient user experiences and tools for their Sales and Operations teams to optimize and scale their Advertising business.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one popular JavaScript framework such as Angular, React, Backbone, Ember, Vue, Svelte.
- Proficiency with one or more object oriented programming language such as Java, C++ etc.
- Strong understanding of UX and UI design principle.
- Familiarity with the complete web stack, including protocols and web performance optimization techniques.
- Experience working in cloud based environment is a plus.
- Understanding of testing strategies, frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience in advertising technology is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a high-performing engineering team of 8 people dedicated on developing tools for our cross functional partners to optimize and scale our Advertising business.
- Collaborate with sales operations, business operations, UX designers, product managers, data scientists, and other partners to align engineering efforts with business objectives and product specifications.
- Define a strategic roadmap and carry out the technical vision for product and engineering activities while maintaining alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure exceptional quality standard for delivery, while adhering to industry standards, security processes, and privacy requirements.
- Develop new features to meet business needs.
- Iteratively developing new features to meet business needs.

- 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams developing consumer-facing applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act as a credible technical advisor to the team and to help the team make thoughtful, informed decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams to ensure quality and delivery of features.
- A track record of hiring and growing diverse, highly talented engineers to maximize their impact.
