The Ohio State University's Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge (ERIK) is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining software systems and web applications to facilitate business processes within ERIK.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience with ReactJS, CSS, and TypeScript
- Experience utilizing REST and GraphQL web services
- Experience working with WCAG 2.X web accessibility standards
- Experience with software prototype generation
- Experience with package managers (such as yarn) and dependency troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of design system creation tools
- Working knowledge of web application security standards
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining software systems and web applications under the direction of ERIK business analysts and the software development team manager
- Creates and develops new web applications
- Maintains existing web applications
- Migrates legacy applications to current technologies
- Integrates other external and internal systems
- Identifies opportunities for new software development or web application enhancements and provides recommendations to management team
- Partners with internal and external system engineers regarding new programming or system implementations
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer information science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
