Cedars-Sinai is looking to solve the problem of creating and managing organization-wide reports, and providing data analytics solutions to support patient care and administrative decision-making.
Requirements
- Five (5) plus years of experience with SQL
- Experience with a range of query tools such as Oracle, SAS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Microsoft SQL, Tableau, etc.
- Experience with patient care-oriented databases, hospital-based administrative database applications and data warehousing technology.
- Knowledge of relation database technology and client-server applications.
- Epic Certification preferred
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as SAS, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access and Business Objects.
Responsibilities
- Triage intake of data requests and seek understanding of technical requirements.
- Use SQL programming code to develop required reports.
- Develop and deliver reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, and deliverables.
- Design, test, and implement reports and data extracts from enterprise database sources.
- Write structured Query Language (SQL) queries against a complex data model.
- Translate requests into programming specifications as needed.
- Provide ongoing support for production reporting environments.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field.
- Experience in system analysis, user relations, and vendor interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with inter-departmental and cross-departmental resources.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely in approved states (Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, Texas)
