The Investment Research Team at Franklin Templeton is looking to solve the problem of identifying the best combination of valuation characteristics, earnings growth, and quality with identifiable catalysts for appreciation in large cap value and global equity, while attempting to avoid common behavioral finance mistakes.
Requirements
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comparables, scenario analysis).
- Proficiency with Bloomberg, FactSet, Excel, and other financial tools.
- Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning capabilities.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- You will conduct fundamental research on value-oriented equities across a variety of sectors, capitalizations and geographies.
- You will develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, and valuation frameworks.
- You will produce well-supported investment recommendations with clear risk/reward profiles.
- You will monitor company performance, earnings, and industry developments continuously.
- You will engage with company management, industry experts, and the sell-side community.
- You will write and present investment theses to the portfolio management team.
- You will contribute to portfolio construction discussions and risk assessments.

- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in equity research (buy-side preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA encouraged but not required.
