At Boeing, the business problem is to develop and maintain parametric cost models and provide rapid, reliable cost estimates across projects and programs to support early-phase decision-making in the Product Development Balanced Design team.
Requirements
- Experience using data analysis to drive decision making
- Experience working in multifaceted and engage with teams across multiple functions
- Experience with data architecture and systems integrations/development projects
- Experience utilizing Engineering systems and data to inform and integrate with financial models
- Experience developing and implementing processes, collaborating/iterating with partners throughout
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering concepts (requirements, simulation & modeling)
- Familiarity with Design Engineering concepts and tool suite (e.g. CAD, PLM)
Responsibilities
- Develop cost models and cost visibility for use by engineering and finance disciplines
- Perform economic analysis in support of engineering decision-making process (for example, trade studies, business cases for technical options)
- Provide affordability project management
- Assist Technical teams in finding cost and quality data
- Improve visibility of cost data within the design process
- Integrate cost analysis within business partner/engineering environments
Other
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
