9th Way Insignia is looking to enhance the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) which resides on one Oracle M8 Supercluster database and thirteen application servers. The team provides technical services required to sustain EDW applications, including management, enhancement, integration, implementation, maintenance, modernization, and infrastructure support for EDW applications, as well as enhancement and maintenance of business intelligence capabilities and predictive analytics.

Requirements

  • 15+ experience in ETL tools, especially Informatica and data warehousing applications
  • 10+ years' experience developing and tuning complex SQL queries in Oracle relational database
  • Creating LDAP authentication to enable single-sign on for users in development environment leveraging analytics repository

Responsibilities

  • Data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, data Migration, ETL process and Business Intelligence
  • Data Modeling design, analysis and implementation - conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, data conversion, data integration and data mining specialization in the area of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence
  • Installing, configuring, developing, supporting and maintaining of the BI APPS
  • Developing ETL's using Informatica to facilitate Extraction Transformation and data load from OLTP systems to OLAP systems
  • Designing schema using KPIs, Fact, Dimensions, Physical, Logical, Alias and Extension tables
  • Building business model and established relationships and foreign keys (physical & logical) between tables
  • Using Informatica Mapping Designer to create/update mapping using different transformations required to move data into data warehouse

Other

  • Master's degree in computer science or other technical disciplines (an additional 10 years of experience can substitute for a degree).
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
  • On site in Washington DC.
