The Product Development Department at JM Family Enterprises supports sales efforts by maintaining and developing F&I products that are sold by dealer customers, and this role is looking to solve the problem of creating and launching new products while ensuring compliance and competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge of JM&A products, systems (mainframe and Sales Connect), Claims, and processes is a plus
  • Analytical and project management skills with the ability to drive projects to completion
  • Ability to partner within and across departments to complete tasks
  • Highly self-motivated with top-notch problem-solving skills
  • Automotive experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of the lending landscape and rules that influence F&I products

Responsibilities

  • In charge of creating new F&I products and launching them. This includes brainstorming ideas, researching, following timelines and plans, collaborating with team members, and working with operational teams.
  • Learn about the rules and the lending landscape that influence our products. Ability to react and make modifications to maintain compliance.
  • Be curious to gain a deep knowledge of product design and its attributes.
  • Continuous evaluation of the competitive landscape for all products.
  • Work closely with outside vendors to develop new products and/or launch new forms. Understand the relationship between JM&A and our vendors so that any issues can be addressed quickly and effectively.
  • Collaboration with OEM Clients and Strategic Partners.
  • Operational teams will oversee the impact on form creation, setting prices, following rules, processing claims, and overseeing contracts.

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in the Finance, Insurance, or automotive environment required
  • Must be detail-oriented and have exemplary organizational, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities/deadlines and demonstrate a solid drive for results
  • Demonstrate strong verbal (public speaking), written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and present to stakeholders at all levels of the organization and with outside partners
