Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in DAX, including time intelligence, complex measure creation, and performance optimization.
- Advanced experience with Power BI (data modeling, Power Query, relationships, row-level security, and Power BI Service deployment), SQL, Excel, and enterprise financial systems such as Coupa, PeopleSoft, or Concur.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and data models that track firmwide financial performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic initiatives.
- Build data models off of relational databases, including the Finance data mart, enterprise data warehouse, and source systems.
- Write, refine, and troubleshoot complex Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) calculations for use across teams to ensure accuracy, scalability, and efficiency across large, multi-source datasets.
- Collaborate with senior finance leaders, department heads, and executives to translate business needs into robust, visually compelling analytics and reports.
- Prioritize and rapidly produce dashboards or ad hoc reports for leadership and board-level presentations.
- Work cross-functionally with Information Technology (IT) and Finance teams to ensure clean data flows, consistent logic, and reliable performance across systems.
- Monitor and enhance dashboard performance, implement optimization techniques, and manage Power BI Service administration.

- 5+ years of experience in financial analytics or business intelligence roles, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and business performance metrics, with the ability to connect insights to business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and proven success presenting data-driven insights to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, pivot quickly, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
