Fidelity is looking to develop a design system with scalable, reusable, and accessible UI components to power consistent user experiences across their products
Requirements
- High proficiency in web development, and a fundamental understanding of software design, data structures and algorithms
- Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Angular 16+, AG-Grid, HTML, CSS/SCSS
- Strong familiarity with design systems, reusable component libraries, and Figma libraries
- Experience with accessibility and usability guidelines, including standards and regulations like WCAG, WAI-ARIA, and IAAP Certifications
- Strong understanding of iterative development, clear documentation practices, and close collaboration with design teams
- Experience with agile scrum environment
- Leadership experience, providing insightful peer reviews for code changes
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of our design system—building scalable, reusable, and accessible UI components
- Provide technical leadership, cultivate collaboration, and help drive innovation
- Work cross-functionally with developers, UX designers, business stakeholders, and architects to bring ideas to life
- Build, maintain, and scale cohesive UI patterns across an organization
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering leadership across the organization and enterprise to shape our evolving systems landscape
- Develop with JavaScript, Typescript, Angular 16+, AG-Grid, HTML, CSS/SCSS
- Ensure accessibility and usability guidelines, including standards and regulations like WCAG, WAI-ARIA, and IAAP Certifications
Other
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of development experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and parse business logic into technical requirements
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with onsite and offsite work experiences
- Adherence to Fidelity’s business governance and regulations, including the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, etc.
