Muon Space is building next-generation Earth observation infrastructure and needs to design and build powerful, intuitive user interfaces that bridge satellite systems with human operators, developing mission-critical web applications that help plan, command, and analyze space missions.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience in Python for web development
- Experience with cloud-native software development in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) using containers
- Experience with React or Vue.js and a strong grasp of TypeScript and modern UI architecture.
- Experience building visual tools that handle real-time or complex geospatial data.
- familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3), and UX for technical domains.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement frontend systems using modern frameworks (React, Vue.js) and TypeScript.
- Create and maintain comprehensive designs, plans and roadmaps for frontend systems.
- Build operational interfaces for satellite tasking, health monitoring, and customer portals
- Integrate 3D visualization tools such as CesiumJS for real-time orbital situational awareness.
- Collaborate with backend, ops, and product teams to deliver scalable, performant UIs.
