The company is seeking to improve and expand its myLexia suite of applications, which requires an experienced frontend engineer to design and develop new features and modernize the application.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of at least one Javascript framework (such as Angular, React, or Vue)
- Experience building and maintaining Single Page Applications (SPAs)
- Experience with modern build tools (webpack, npm, vite, yarn, grunt)
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Thorough understanding of RESTful web services and HTTP protocols
- Strong command of Angular and/or Typescript
- Experience working with and contributing to a frontend component library
Responsibilities
- Develop new views and reports for myLexia using Angular and Typescript
- Contribute to the ongoing effort to migrate the myLexia application from AngularJS to the latest version of Angular
- Work closely with the backend (PHP + MySQL) to understand the flow of data
- Play an active role in team development processes including standup, planning, code review, and task refinement
- Share technical expertise with fellow team members and mentor junior level developers
Other
- 6+ years of professional experience developing frontend applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Reliable internet connection through a cable or fiber-optic broadband service with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
- Participate in video-based interviews during the recruiting process and ongoing virtual meetings with camera on
