Transforming the legacy CVS pharmacy systems into a cutting-edge, cloud-native platform hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enhance the experience related to the patient and drug domains
Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- 5+ years of experience with frontend security concepts (e.g., XSS prevention, secure cookies, etc.)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with frontend testing frameworks/strategies (e.g, Jest, Cypress, or others)
- 1+ years experience with CI/CD pipelines and workflows
- Strong understanding of frontend best practices for maintainable, performant code
- Experience with JxBrowser or similar tools for hybrid web environments
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design principles
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsible web applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Ensure high code quality through adherence to frontend best practices and modern security concepts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions
- Contribute to frontend testing strategies and evaluate testing frameworks for adoption
- Work within CI/CD workflows, supporting seamless integration and deployment
- Utilize tools like JxBrowser to extend frontend capabilities
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)
- Preference is for candidates to work hybrid out of our corporate office in Woonsocket, RI or Hartford, CT; remote will be considered for candidates not in close proximity to an office
- 40 hours per week
