Capco Technology Delivery Center is looking to hire a Senior .Net/Oracle Engineer to contribute to the quality and implementation of their software products for financial services industry clients, helping them innovate, increase revenue, manage risk, reduce costs, and enhance controls.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in C and the .NET framework, with strong object-oriented programming skills.
- A solid grasp of SOLID principles and best practices for maintainable, scalable code.
- Proven experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases, including performance tuning and optimization.
- Strong understanding of multithreading, asynchronous programming, and concurrency management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Bamboo, J-Frog, or SonarQube.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (TDD, BDD, FDD) and a commitment to delivering high-quality, well-tested software.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of key modules within a flagship middle office platform—designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software that drives real business value.
- Work end-to-end across the stack, delivering enhancements, fixes, and new features that improve system performance and functionality.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand needs and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Contribute to a highly collaborative Agile environment—participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system performance issues, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability.
- Support migration, integration, and deployment efforts with thorough documentation and technical precision.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate workflows—helping the team move faster and smarter.

- 5+ years of hands-on development experience in financial services.
- Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and API design/microservices architecture is a strong plus.
- Willingness to work in the Jersey City office 3 days/week
