Steampunk is looking to solve the problem of building software with a meaningful mission by hiring a Full Stack Developer to work with a team of software engineers, test automation engineers, designers, and product owners to bring conceptual solutions to life in a mature Agile/DevSecOps environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with software development
- 5+ years of experience with building software using agile methods
- 8+ years of experience with multiple back-end languages (e.g. C, C, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks
- 5+ years of experience with build, deployment, and release automation and orchestration in a DevOps environment
- 5+ years of experience with infrastructure as code environments
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
- Experience with .NET, Java 17, Drupal, ETL, Angular 17
Responsibilities
- Develop new functionality and deliver product releases
- Ensure solutions follow Steampunk's philosophy of human centered design and co-created experiences
- Mentor junior developers
- Work with different application teams and technology stacks to provide clients with exceptional solutions and functional products
- Leverage experience to solve challenging problems with self-motivation and determination
- Write and evaluate user stories, acceptance criteria, and pull-requests
- Automate tests for determining quality, security, performance, and usability of a system
Other
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field required
- 8+ years of experience with software development
- Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, decision-making skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
- Be on camera during interviews and assessments
