GovCIO is looking to solve the business and technical problem of developing cloud-based tools for a federal digitalization platform that supports intake, validation, metadata processing, and submission. The platform needs to meet stringent federal requirements like FedRAMP High, support automation, and enable both manual and AI-assisted data capture.
Requirements
- Proven experience with secure, scalable applications in FedRAMP Moderate to High cloud environments.
- Experience with continuous integration (CI/CD), automated testing frameworks, and quality gates.
- NodeJS ESM, TypeScript, Java with Spring Framework or Spring Boot.
- Deep understanding of OOP concepts via TypeScript and/or Java.
- React (v17+), Next.js, Vue.js, Rollup.js.
- Deep understanding of front-end state management.
- Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or any other CI/CD pipeline/workflow technology.
Responsibilities
- Designs and codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools.
- Maintains and modifies existing software applications.
- Analyzes detailed systems factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, and alternative methods of problem resolution.
- Performs modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures.
- Participates in code reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to standards and specifications.
- Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation and user guides in accordance with standards.
- Serve as a Senior member of a development team for an enterprise-grade platform supporting a complex federal digitalization program.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance with credit check.
- DC metro area candidates would be preferred.
