Requirements
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, React *, and React Native
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with cloud platforms* such as AWS
- Proficiency with NoSQL databases*, especially DynamoDB
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile development methodologies
- Experience with mobile app deployment processes for iOS* and Android
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of full stack applications across mobile and web platforms, with a strong emphasis on hands-on coding (approximately 80% of the role)
- Define and implement technical requirements and architectural decisions for new features and product enhancements
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code with a focus on performance, maintainability, and security
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA to deliver high-impact solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within a two-week sprint cycle
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to system architecture, APIs, and development processes
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development with a strong portfolio of hands-on contributions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate across teams
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Demonstrated success in mentoring or leading small engineering teams
