House Rx is looking to solve the problem of making specialty medications more affordable and accessible for patients suffering from chronic illnesses by expanding their product team and enhancing their Shared Services platform.
Requirements
- ~7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with TypeScript and React as core tools.
- Deep understanding of REST APIs - able to design, implement, and explain the semantics of REST verbs and status codes.
- Ability to break down complex product requirements and UI designs into manageable tasks and ultimately deliver intuitive, high-performance UIs.
- Strong backend and database skills, with experience delivering full stack projects end-to-end.
- Track record of leading complex projects and seeing them through with accountability, quality, and timeliness.
- Passion for testing, automation, and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of full stack projects from design through deployment, with timelines of 4–6 weeks.
- Drive the architecture, standards, and reliability of core components – authentication, user management, workflow orchestration, patient profiles, and more.
- Champion automated testing, code quality, and best practices across your pod and the broader engineering org.
- Work closely with teammates to elevate technical standards and share knowledge.
- Understand the systems you own and deploy meaningful code into production.
- Take ownership of some of the projects within the pod and lead them to completion.
- Shape a roadmap to improve quality and processes.
