T. Rowe Price is looking to solve the business problem of secure and efficient administration of external user authentication systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement in the login experience and security posture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in full stack engineering
- 5+ years’ experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and related frameworks
- 3+ years’ experience implementing technology solutions using AWS cloud technologies
- 3+ years’ experience developing web applications with React.js and using state management libraries
- 3+ years’ experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Expertise in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting full stack technology solutions
- Knowledge in testing frameworks for both front-end and back-end applications
Responsibilities
- Designs and develops full stack solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards
- Performs technical planning, architecture development, and modification of specifications
- Develops specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings
- Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to iterative development cycles
- Recommends and contributes to software engineering best practices, including those that have enterprise-wide impact
- Accountable for the quality, maintainability and security of the system

- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant full stack engineering experience
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and stay abreast of industry trends
- Experience working with existing data models and schemas, with the ability to suggest changes and improvements
- Hybrid work schedule with up to three days per week from home
- FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role
