Requirements
- Experience with backend systems operating at a significant technical and organizational scale
- Preferred experience in our technology stack - Python, Django, React, Javascript, MongoDB, AWS
- Experience with Frontend technologies, React experience preferred
- Care for the end user experience (polish, usability, accessibility, performance)
Responsibilities
- Own the technical design of major components in our backend codebase
- Work closely with other engineers on the team to develop scalable, fault-tolerant systems
- Produce quality software that is shipped incrementally and continually at a high velocity
- Collaborate cross-functionally to plan and deliver a high quality product to market
- Interact with early customers and support them in being successful with new launches
- Provide thoughtful feedback to your peers, and benefit from strong mentorship yourself
- Work closely with product managers and designers to build delightful user experiences
Other
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment by identifying and pursuing areas of impact
