Quora is looking to solve the problem of growing the world's collective intelligence by developing and improving its Poe product, a platform providing millions of global users with one place to chat, explore and build with a wide variety of AI language models.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with large scale codebases and systems
- 3+ years of experience working with React, Typescript, and GraphQL
- 3+ years experience in Python, Java, C++ or similar programming language
- 2+ years experience in designing APIs or building UI products for external developers
- Passion for code quality and designing elegant systems
- Stay updated on the latest API trends, technologies, and best practices
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams (design, product, data science, QA, and engineering) to advise on product roadmap and create innovative features and developer experiences with our APIs
- Rapidly prototype and implement new product features from ideation to production, using modern web technologies and best practices for performance and reliability
- Collaborate closely with early access developers to deliver scalable and efficient API features
- Be a champion for both developer experience and for sustainable, scalable code practices
- Participate in on-call responsibilities to ensure Poe provides a reliable and high quality product
