Rippling is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Time & Attendance (T&A) team to build innovative solutions that help businesses manage their workforce globally. The T&A products have a high number of users and are critical for hourly employees, contributing significantly to Rippling's ARR growth. The role involves shaping the future of a rapidly growing product suite and solving complex challenges in workforce management.

Requirements

  • A minimum 5 years of experience in frontend development with React or typescript.
  • Experience with backend technologies: Python, Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, Node.
  • Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals.
  • Comfortable working with systems at scale and can navigate complex technical challenges even as a frontend engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance frontend components and systems that power critical workforce management products.
  • Deliver high-quality features quickly by balancing speed and safety in your code.
  • Own architectural decisions and guide the full product lifecycle, from ideation to production.
  • Think creatively about product solutions to tricky design and user problems within the system.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other teams to gather customer feedback and refine the product roadmap.
  • Support the growth of junior engineers by sharing your expertise and promoting engineering best practices across the team.
  • As an early member of this team, you’ll have a direct influence on team culture, structure, and processes.
