Consumer Cellular is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build a wide range of customer experiences across platforms, including web, tablet, mobile, and in-store kiosks. This is a greenfield project where the engineer will have the opportunity to make foundational decisions influencing architecture and development processes.

- AWS Ecosystem (Lambda, Amplify, Cognito)

- Headless CMS experience (Sanity, Prismic)
Responsibilities
- Build and polish front-end application code using modern frameworks like Next.js and React Native
- Design and deliver a wide range of digital experiences within the AWS ecosystem, including web, mobile, tablet, and in-store kiosks.
- Iteratively improve the design, information architecture, and user experience of the entire application.
- Collaborate directly with your Scrum Master and Product Owner to solve complex technical problems, ensuring every solution balances user impact with a sharp focus on speed and performance.
- Drive quality by working with peers to define QA test cases and build robust automated tests.
- Master and circulate knowledge on emerging technologies, helping the team push boundaries and innovate.
- Build a solid understanding of inter-team functional dependencies and navigate appropriate communication channels for solving issues.

- Seamlessly integrate into the team with minimal guidance, demonstrating the ability to hit the ground running from day one.
- Work with a highly skilled Principal Engineer who will act as your mentor as well as other Senior and non-Senior Engineering peers.
- Reside within 50 miles of our Corporate Headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ as this role has the option of hybrid or onsite work.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in software development/engineering.
- 2+ years of experience using modern Javascript frameworks such as React for building applications with enterprise design patterns.
