Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to support the strategic initiative focused on expanding Account Opening and Maintenance capabilities within Wealth Investment Management Technology's (WIMT). This role is critical to increasing capacity and enhancing the applications used by financial advisors to onboard new clients.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years of Java full stack Software Engineering experience building UI, APIs and backend solutions
• 2+ years of Java Version 8 and later functional programming experience
• 2+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
• 2+ years of Java unit test case development experience
• 2+ years of experience in automated unit and functional code testing
• 2+ years of experience in development of UI with MVC, Web Forms, Angular and/or ReactJS

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
• Build a new technology stack and enhance existing applications
• Work across multiple Scrum teams
