Our client is in the process of modernizing its legacy, on-premises applications into AWS GovCloud using a serverless technology stack. We’re looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer who can develop, design, optimize, and manage our AWS Serverless Applications.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in React (with Typescript)
- Strong expertise in NodeJS (with Typescript)
- Strong expertise in AWS Serverless architecture
- Must be able to demonstrate strong proficiency in AWS services, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora, S3, and others.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows.
- Strong understanding of Node.js and its frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, optimize, and manage our AWS Serverless Applications.
- Writes and maintains integration and unit tests to ensure feature reliability and performance.
- Takes ownership of writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable code.
- Resolves complex system integration challenges, often working across team boundaries to deliver cohesive solutions.
- May lead or actively participate in meetings to gather and refine requirements, leveraging business, technical, and industry knowledge to define constraints and objectives.
- Clearly communicates the business value of proposed solutions, with guidance as needed, and implements strategies to mitigate technical and business risks.
- Proactively identifies and addresses issues or risks, engaging with internal and external stakeholders—including project managers—to ensure timely resolution.

- This is a hybrid position based in Springfield, Virginia.
