Nexamp is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help build tech solutions to accelerate their sustainable energy future.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience at companies with 10 or more developers
  • Experience developing and maintaining web-based solutions in modern Python, ideally using Django, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
  • Experience building consumer-facing frontend applications in React and Typescript
  • Robust understanding of web standards, infrastructure (databases, storage, caching, content delivery, etc.), and cloud platform offerings
  • Strong debugging skills and a track record of independently solving problems
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines for automated testing & deployment, and infrastructure tools like Terraform

Responsibilities

  • Deliver value by internalizing objectives and delivering measurable change for Nexamp and customers
  • Write code by designing, implementing, and deploying reliable and efficient production software in the React/Django/Azure stack
  • Elevate the squad by actively participating in sprint planning, execution, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives
  • Grow others by guiding and inspiring junior developers across the org through mentorship and collaboration
  • Grow yourself by continually seeking ways to level-up skills and make a bigger impact throughout the company

  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry
  • Ability to work in person 1-2 days per week from our Boston, MA office
