The National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) needs assistance with digital transformation, requiring the design and implementation of new capabilities and custom software solutions to solve unique government customer problems.
Requirements
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience with server-side languages, preference toward Golang, NodeJS, and/or Python
- Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks, preference toward Angular and Vue
- Experience with version control software (e.g., Git)
- Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA
- Experience with containerized deployment such as Docker
- Experience utilizing document store databases, such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch and MongoDB
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new capabilities and custom software solutions to solve unique government customer problems
- Follow best practices to write well-tested, high performing code
- Identify and resolve issues found in existing code
- Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
- Participate in code reviews and mentor team members
- Communicate status and technical details with customers
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant STEM field or 20 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance
- 12 + years experience writing, maintaining, debugging, and testing code
- Ability to communicate technical details of work
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
