Apple Services Engineering is looking to improve the web experience of internal platforms that help ensure creative and technical quality at scale for services like Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Podcasts, and more.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks (React preferred, but others welcome)
- Ability to own architectural decisions and scale front-end systems
- Familiarity with API integration and HTTP lifecycle
- Eagerness to collaborate with backend engineers (Java/Kotlin)
- Familiarity with video or media playback is a plus
- Experience with backend development in Java/Kotlin
- Exposure to data modeling, working with relational or NoSQL databases
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerized services, or cloud environments

- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills in a collaborative environment
- Passion for building polished, performant internal tools
- Experience working independently or as the only front-end lead on a project
