The Permissions Platform specifically addresses the need to manage user access across all Rippling applications, ensuring users have the right permissions without over-accessing sensitive data.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Experience building and operating reliable backend services using one or more backend languages: (Python/Ruby/golang, etc.) and web frameworks (Django, RoR, Spring, etc.)
- Experience building well-tested, composable frontend components (React experience is ideal)
Responsibilities
- Become an expert on Permissions at Rippling, and leverage that expertise to support existing products and to continue building the foundation for new and existing products alike.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to design, build, and maintain backend data models, APIs, and frontend components that power delightful user experiences wherever Rippling users need to see or manage permissions.
- Partner with other engineers across the organization to adopt the Permissions Platform to enable teams to quickly evolve existing products and bring new products to market.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers on the team.
- Ship high-quality software incrementally and consistently.
