Acrisure Innovation is looking to solve the business and technical problem of disrupting the $6T+ insurance industry by building innovative software that transforms insurance distribution and underwriting into a science, leveraging AI and data to remove historical constraints and create a digital marketplace for risk.
Requirements
- 7+ years as a Full-Stack Engineer with significant front-end experience
- Possess exceptional knowledge of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles.
- Have expertise with modern software tools, libraries, and languages, including modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (e.g., React) as well as Kotlin or similar JVM-based languages.
- Are product- and customer-focused, with demonstrated design and UX sensibilities and a passion for delighting the end user.
- Are excited about the opportunity to use data and AI to transform the insurance industry.
- Are entrepreneurial and action-biased; self-directed and excited to build something from scratch in a fast-paced, experimentation-driven environment.
- Stamp out unnecessary complexity, harness necessary complexity, and make complex topics clear and accessible to others.
Responsibilities
- Build beautiful, efficient, and reliable technology that drives the future of frontend products in the insurance industry.
- Collaborate with product managers and user experience designers to iterate on the design and implementation of our product.
- Assist in designing and maintaining our tech stack, building when it makes sense, inventing when necessary, and continually upgrading as tools evolve.
- Identify, adopt, and evangelize best practices.
- Advocate for and identify creative implementations to optimize business impact.
- Measure the effectiveness of new features, find and address performance issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Work collegially and effectively as we grow a world-class, diverse engineering team.
