Requirements
- Strong understanding of SOLID design principles and software design patterns
- Professional experience with PostgreSQL (query optimization, migrations)
- Understanding of Atomic Design principles and scalable design systems
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience with Javascript or Typescript (e.g., NodeJS, NestJS)
- Experience with React, NextJS, or other frontend technologies
- Experience with Third-party payment API integration
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable SaaS applications using NestJS (backend) and NextJS (frontend)
- Build and optimize PostgreSQL databases and microservices architecture
- Collaborate with product teams to balance technical decisions with business objectives
- Mentor engineers on SDLC best practices and implement our design system
- Leverage AI and agentic tools throughout the development lifecycle
- Stay current with cloud-native technologies and microservices patterns
- Support deployments by debugging, troubleshooting, and coordinating with DevOps and QA
Other
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years building and debugging large-scale, cloud-based solutions
