The company aims to reverse these conditions through technological innovations, personalized nutrition, and virtual care delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience with strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, TypeScript) and familiarity with frameworks such as React.
- 5+ years of REST, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs.
- At least 1 year experience of using AI tools to both build consumer facing products and accelerate development workflows.
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining microservices in production.

Responsibilities
- Build and enhance scalable Python and Golang services to power our member facing mobile app, with a focus on supporting our members in their first two weeks.
- Contribute to building Viv, a multi-surface AI guide whose goal is to engage and support members in their journey.
- Contribute to the growth of the engineering team by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and helping introduce standardizations and processes that improve technical quality.
- Spend 80+% of your time working in the backend.
- Partner with product management, design, analysts and non-technical stakeholders to come up with high-impact features that make metabolic weight loss feel accessible and exciting to our members.
