Support the globalization of Jabil Defense and Aerospace business through leading and coordinating the standardization of systems, procedures and policies across all of the Jabil workcells.

Requirements

  • Background and comprehensive knowledge of AS9100
  • Minimum 5 Years experience in quality with experience in PPAP/FAIR, MSA, SPC, FMEA, APQP/AQP, GRR, and GD&T.
  • Proven Lean implementation experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate technical information, regulatory and legal documents.
  • Advanced PC skills, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail utilization skills required.
  • Ability to write and/or interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that current and future quality and manufacturing systems meet and/or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and promote improvement in customer metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between Jabil sites for program transfers including providing input into transfer plans and timelines, supporting data and knowledge transfer activities and participating in launch activities as needed.
  • Provide support and technical assistance to new facility and/or workcell startups.
  • Provide mentoring and technical assistance to direct reports and Jabil site Quality Managers and staff.
  • Deployment and training to manufacturing sites for quality tools and techniques
  • Global Process capability program

Other

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering or Business Management or equivalent education and training
  • 15 years of experience in a manufacturing operations quality environment, including 8 years in a supervisory role preferred or a combination of education, experience and/or training
  • Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs
  • Strong knowledge of global and regional industry standards.
  • Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in cost forecasting and budget management.
