Fiserv is looking to redefine core processing in banking and financial services by developing a next-generation Core-as-a-Service platform. The Senior Golang Developer will contribute to creating new software and enhancing existing software to provide essential banking and financial institution services.
Requirements
- 6+ years of developing, maintaining, and designing scalable, cloud-native software in object-oriented programming languages.
- 6+ years of experience with RESTful services, Swagger, Json data interchange, and GIT.
- 6+ years of experience in technical analysis, design, and development.
- 2+ years of experience in Go (Golang) programming.
- Experience in the design and development of high throughput microservices.
- Direct experience with Core Banking processes, architecture, and software development.
- Firsthand financial industry experience in software application development for payments networks (ACH, Fedwire, RTP), card processing, Information Technology, loan servicing, deposit operations, and CRM systems is great to have.
Responsibilities
- Develop new APIs and microservices to support a wide range of needs for various financial institutions.
- Work with business analysts, engineers, and other system users to understand and implement their application requirements.
- Collaborate with partners to understand their implementations and gain a breadth of knowledge in cloud-based SaaS implementations and technologies.
- Develop quality software, improve test coverage and the overall quality of the systems.
- Provide leadership to other developers on the team and assist them in designing solutions, understanding the principles of financial services software and programming best practices.
