Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with C OR C++
- Technical expertise in real-time rendering
- Proficient in graphics APIs and shader languages, such as Direct3D and HLSL
- Proficient with performance analysis tools such as PIX, RenderDoc, NVIDIA Nsight, AMD Radeon or Intel GPA
- Technical skills in any one of various graphics specialist fields such as GPU architecture, ray tracing, general compute, physical based rendering, etc.
- Familiarity with modern game engines such as Unity, Unreal, or equivalent
- Comfortable investigating and debugging code
Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with game developers and Microsoft platform teams across various disciplines to solve technical problems
- Conduct graphics performance analysis and provide optimization guidance
- Explore the latest graphics innovations and share recommendations with game developers
- Collaborate across teams to drive change on behalf of developer needs
- Research and incubate innovative ideas to advance the Microsoft gaming environment
