Amazon Robotics is seeking a motivated and hands on Test Engineer to join the hardware test engineering team to advance the knowledge of robotics and how millions of customer orders are fulfilled every day.
Requirements
- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Experience in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- Design experience of simple parts, assemblies, and fixtures
- Experience with Electro-Mechanical systems
- Ability and desire to work hands on in lab environments
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
- Deep hands-on technical expertise in testing of electro-mechanical systems
Responsibilities
- Work with program teams and development engineering to create test strategies to inform development and verify requirements.
- improving existing test methodologies, creating new techniques, and developing new fixtures and equipment.
- providing data to inform design decisions and ultimately verifying that all product requirements are met.

- designing and building new fixtures
- helping to debug early prototypes
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience working in new technology or product development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
