The company is looking to solve the problem of maintaining and enhancing its existing IBM InfoSphere MDM v11.x implementation, as well as supporting its enterprise-scale systems, by hiring a skilled software developer with strong hands-on experience in IBM MDM, Java, Linux/Unix, Apache Kafka, and other relevant technologies.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v11.x
- 8+ years of Java / J2EE experience, including Java, JSP, and REST/SOAP-based services
- 5+ years of experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including topic creation and configuration, producer and consumer development
- Experience with batch processing using WildFly and Kafka
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments
- Strong Linux/Unix shell scripting skills (Bash), including automation and operational scripting
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance an existing MDM implementation built by a third-party vendor
- Troubleshoot production issues with Java, JSP, and REST/SOAP-based services
- Configure, customize, and troubleshoot IBM InfoSphere MDM v11.x
- Develop and troubleshoot producer and consumer applications using Apache Kafka
- Create, schedule, and maintain CRON jobs for batch and scheduled processes
- Deploy and support applications in cloud and OCP containerized environments
- Integrate Kafka with WildFly-based applications and IBM MDM

- 8+ years of software development experience supporting enterprise-scale systems
- Ability to independently own, maintain, and support complex systems with minimal external dependency
- Experience working with data and supporting mission-critical production systems
- Ability to understand, maintain, and enhance an existing MDM implementation built by a third-party vendor
