The Ohio State University is looking to solve infrastructure automation and management problems by designing, building, and maintaining automated infrastructure and monitoring solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Ansible, AWX, and/or Tower.
- Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of security best practices and configuration management.

Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and support infrastructure automation.
- Integrate and maintain Ansible, AWX, and/or Tower.
- Develop code to manage, configure, update, and modify infrastructure.
- Establish and maintain a build and deployment pipeline (version control, approvals, testing, and deployment).
- Automate repetitive maintenance tasks, including system updates.
- Automate and standardize core configuration of routers and switches based on security baselines and best practices.
- Create reporting on infrastructure discovery and inventory.
