Carollo Engineers is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support their vision of becoming the best water consulting firm, working on projects related to municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, pump stations, conveyance piping, and other projects that help to implement sustainable and resilient water supplies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 10+ years of water and wastewater infrastructure design experience with at least five years of project management experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer
- Demonstrated experience in the design and construction administration of small, medium, and large water and wastewater infrastructure projects including pump stations, wastewater collection systems, potable and reclaimed water transmission/distribution systems, and pipeline rehabilitation projects
- Project management experience including development and management of scope, schedule, budget, and quality assurance plans
- Master’s degree in civil engineering
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering work in various engineering fields within the Infrastructure Practice such as pipelines, pump stations, and storage tanks
- Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on small to large projects of a moderately complex nature
- Work on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, write specifications, facilitate permitting, and prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phase
- Manage projects including being responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards
- Directs team members to produce successful projects
- Responsible for training and monitoring staff
