Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SIWS) is seeking a Senior Integrated Design Engineering Manager to lead the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Integrated Design Engineering (IDE) capability. The role aims to achieve exceptional performance, drive innovation, build and empower a high-performing team, meet product commitments, and continuously implement productivity and efficiency improvements for missile defense products.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in engineering management, including senior management.
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Lead Engineer (TLE).
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to missile defense systems.
- Experience in electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Experience in gimbals or robotics design.
Responsibilities
- Implement measures to enhance product quality, safety, and on-time delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business success.
- Analyze and optimize Engineering Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement, enhance team performance, and drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Promote the replication of best practices in technical approaches, products, tools, and workflows, enabling streamlined work processes and subsequent opportunities for innovation.
- Interface with suppliers and resolve issues to support production-related engineering activities.
- Lead the design, production, and sustainment of our complex and cutting-edge missile defense products.
- Ensure the team's success in delivering high-quality results.
- Leverage technical expertise and leadership skills associated with missile defense products.
