Epirus is seeking to develop an immersive simulation environment for mission planning, training, UI/UX testing, and more, to overcome the asymmetric challenges inherent to the future of national security.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming)
- 5+ years of game development experience, with at least 3 years using Unreal Engine (UE4 or later)
- Proven track record of contributing to one or more shipped AA/AAA games or equivalent
- Strong understanding of server-client architecture and network optimization for multiplayer games
- Proficiency in C++ and Blueprint scripting, with familiarity with Python
- Familiarity with game development processes, including working with design, development, production, and QA
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of our in-house simulation platform using Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance simulation capabilities.
- Work with design and UI/UX teams to develop next-generation user interfaces
- Create simulation scenarios for training users in the operation of our systems.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Demonstrated ability to lead a development team, including mentoring junior developers
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a passion for overcoming technical challenges
- U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
