Benefis Health System is looking to solve the problem of connecting and exchanging data between information systems applications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent technical experience
- Five years experience in developing and maintaining interfaces
- Previous experience with primary healthcare EMR system vendor is preferred
- Previous experience with vendor preferred interface engine is desired
- Must complete all required application course work and obtain applicable EMR certification within three months of assignment
Responsibilities
- Assesses, builds, configures, tests, and maintains interfaces using various technologies to connect and exchange data between information systems application
- Actively leads in the planning and design of any new or modifications to existing interfaces
- Ensures data is accurately translated and exchanged
- Establishes proactive monitoring to confirm integrations are performing optimally and issues are detected and resolved promptly
- Maintains detailed documentation of interfaces
- Makes recommendations and assists leadership in the development of system interfaces and interface engine needs
Other
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict
- Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures
- Five years experience in a health care environment
- At least 1 year of team lead experience preferred
