Nationwide Investments Structured Products Team is seeking a Senior Investment Professional to lead research, trading, and portfolio management activities for various fixed income assets, aiming to deliver superior investment results and manage risk effectively.
Requirements
- Prior securitization structuring, modeling and/or trading experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with Bloomberg and Intex
- Statistical data analysis and related programming skills
- Familiarity with insurance statutory accounting and regulatory frameworks
- Solid understanding of fixed income and financial concepts
- Understanding of economics and capital markets
Responsibilities
- Portfolio Manager responsible for research, trading and portfolio management activities.
- Identification of executable and suitable market opportunities.
- Transaction analysis including participants, collateral, borrower, structure, deal documents and relative value scenario analysis.
- Portfolio surveillance including identification of emerging investment risks, and development and implementation of successful risk mitigation actions.
- Portfolio performance attribution analysis.
- Perform ad-hoc projects, reporting and analysis as requested.
- Drives the creation of streamlined reporting and portfolio reports as needed.
