Mercer Investments is undergoing a major multi-year transformation to implement a comprehensive target operating model (TOM) that includes portfolio management, trading, compliance, middle/back office, performance, data, analytics, and client-facing services, leveraging strategic partnerships and next-generation data platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience with investment management application suites such as State Street Alpha (CRIMS, ADP, SS MO/BO) and related middle/back office, analytics, and reporting systems.
- Extensive background in front-to-back investment management systems, both vended and custom-built.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, support frameworks, and change management in investment technology environments.
- Knowledge of data platforms, analytics, and AI applications within investment management.
- Experience managing multi-vendor environments and working with strategic technology partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies across unit, system, UAT, and production readiness testing to ensure high-quality technology implementations.
- Oversee and coordinate testing activities with end users, vendors, and internal teams across multiple regions and systems, ensuring timely issue remediation and retesting.
- Lead the design and implementation of robust support models, managing smooth transitions from testing to production and ensuring proactive post-go-live support.
- Collaborate closely with vendors, technology teams, data operations, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless, reliable, and scalable investment technology solutions.
- Drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement while mentoring junior team members and vendor support staff.

- Project management certification or experience, such as PMP or Agile methodologies.
